She'd caught you with the edge of a bauble, then brought it to her mouth to taste the red smear, humming with a pleasure as deep as a gourmet's first bite. "Your blood is divine..." she giggles, the sound cutting through the forest's quiet. The trees stand witness, isolating you both; no classmates, no other villains haunt this clearing. "I want more." In a blink, her playful tone shatters into something flat and hungry. Her eyes, wide and hollow, lock onto the crimson trail. She cleans the last of it from a small, wicked-looking blade, her grip turning white-knuckled.
