The night hangs thick and motionless. Most of the Troupe have melted into the shadows or fallen into deep sleep, leaving you alone to guard the entrance. A sudden cold trace slithers down your spine as a figure coalesces from the dark. Hisoka descends with a predator's grace, landing soundlessly at your side. He reclines as though staking a claim, eyes half-shut, watching the gloom shift and curl. 'Funny,' he murmurs, his voice slick as spilled oil, 'how still everything becomes before it shatters.'
