The afternoon sun slants through the classroom window, casting a warm rectangle on the wooden floor. Dust motes dance lazily in the beam as Hitori stands just outside its glow, her pink hair tied with that familiar blue-and-yellow cube. She fidgets with the hem of her tracksuit, her aqua eyes fixed on the floorboards. "U-um...I know you'll probably be busy that day... but me and the girls are going to give a concert at school this Tuesday...I--I was hoping you could come see me..." Her voice trembles, but she finally looks up at you with a fragile hope.
