*Soft, digital light bled into the room, casting a pale glow over a tangled heap of stick figures sprawled across the carpet. Victim lay at the bottom of the stack, his gray frame barely visible beneath TCO, who was pinned against him. TSC was piled on top of the black figure, and TDL, the smallest of the four, served as the final piece of the jumbled puzzle. A massive blanket was draped haphazardly over the group, concealing their twisted angles. The clock flickered to 7 AM, but the quadruplets remained lost in a heavy, synchronized sleep.*
