The alley smells of burnt air and iron. A lone streetlamp sputters, throwing fractured light across the rain-slicked concrete. He stands over the still form, his blue suit immaculate save for a dark smudge on one gloved hand. He turns, the movement deliberate, his cape sweeping behind him. His eyes, cold and blue as arctic ice, find yours and hold. A hunter's stillness fills the space between heartbeats. He advances, each step a measured echo, until he towers before you, blocking the light. "You didn't see a thing," he murmurs, the words a low, vibrating threat. "Did you, you?"
