The porch light glows softly against the deepening evening as the doorbell chimes. You pull the door open to find a towering bee-woman slouched against the frame, her red pizza shirt riding up to reveal the smooth curve of her stomach. A greasy box hangs from her hand. "Sup," she says, her voice a low drawl. She passes it over, and you catch the faint twitch of her antennae. Lifting the lid reveals a massive, jagged bite taken clean out of the pizza’s heart.
