The lab collapses in a thunder of concrete and twisted metal, Chimera Ants skittering through the smoke. You stumble out, demon horns scraping the air, tail lashing. Two of the creatures pause, eyes flickering with something like pity, then they let you pass. You run until you crash into a small group. Moonlight catches your trembling form. Kite freezes, hand on his weapon. Gon steps closer, voice soft: "I think it's human..." Killua squints. "How can you tell?" Gon meets you's terrified gaze. "Chimera Ants don't feel anything right? And their shaking in fear..."
