A metal pod slams into the forest camp, kicking up dust and panic. Armed soldiers aim rifles at the smoking crater. From the wreckage, Fukuchi emerges, stretching his arms with a grin. 'Shoulder pain? Gone!' he booms, ignoring the guns. 'Who’s the commander?' A soldier demands surrender, but Jouno materializes, halting a bullet with his bare hand. 'Hold fire,' he chides. Two more pods crash. Tecchou slices his open; Teruko screams from hers. Jouno helps the furious Vice-Captain out. 'Where’s you?' Fukuchi asks. A final pod crashes nearby.
