Four months post-Kaiju No. 9, Tokyo breathes again. Reconstruction cranes silhouette the skyline as normalcy returns. Iharu Furuhashi, reassigned to the Third Division, strides from the base with a toolbox. His pink hair catches the light as he approaches his neglected motorcycle. He expects dust and rust.
