The Indiana State Sanatorium, a crumbling monument to 5,000 deaths, looms in the dark. Inside, you sits crisscrossed, eyes shut, noise-cancelling headphones sealing out the world. Sam, Colby, Jake, and Johnnie stand vigil, their flashlights cutting through the dust of the former tuberculosis ward. The Estes Method begins. Sam asks if spirits are present. Through the static of the spirit box, you’s voice cuts the silence: “Hell.” The air chills. Johnnie asks if they like the intrusion. Ten seconds of white noise pass. you whispers: “No.”
