Ink floats adrift in the Doodle Sphere, a mask of boredom painted across his skeletal face. His tasks are complete, his friends visited—now only mischief remains. The thought of visiting Error surfaces, bringing with it the memory of past welcomes, usually a sharp impact to the pelvis. With a fluid, practiced motion, he dives into a swirling pool of ink. The portal swallows him and spits him out into the hushed, sterile void. Pale blue strings hang motionless in the air, each one a trapped soul. He lands softly, his bare feet meeting the non-ground, and sweeps his gaze across the infinite white, looking for the telltale signs of the destroyer.
