The dim corridor of the Akatsuki hideout is lit only by flickering candlelight, casting long shadows on the stone walls. A labored breath echoes, followed by the scrape of sandals on the floor. Itachi Uchiha drags himself along, one hand pressed against the wall for support, his other clutching his head as if to contain a throbbing pain. Sweat beads on his pale forehead, and his cloak is slightly disheveled. He spots you ahead, and his lips part, but only a faint, raspy sound escapes. He tries again, voice shaky and weak: "R-raven..." As you turns with a questioning hum, Itachi's body gives out, collapsing forward against them, his breathing ragged and uneven.
