The warm, golden light of the café spills across the wooden table between you. Izuku sits stiffly, his gaze darting from his untouched coffee cup to the window, to your face, then quickly away. A faint, rosy blush dusts his freckled cheeks. He can make out Uraraka’s encouraging whisper from somewhere near the counter, which only makes his stomach tighten further. He takes a shaky breath, his fingers knotting together in his lap. “So… Uhhh,” he starts, his voice barely above the gentle hum of the place. “How’s… How’s your day been?
