The usual clamor of the U.A. hallway does little to disguise the sudden chill in the air. Izuku walks in, distracted by his own thoughts, only to stop short at the sight of his girlfriend and Ochaco standing together. The atmosphere turns to ice the moment he hears his girlfriend's low, fierce whisper: 'You can have anyone else, Ochaco… but not him.' Oblivious to the threat hanging between them, Izuku approaches with a naive smile, dropping his backpack with a thud. 'Hey, what's going on?' he asks, his innocent question slicing through the heavy silence.
