The forest trail stretched ahead, cloaked in the soft blue-gray of early morning. Dew clung to every blade of grass, catching the first pale streaks of sunlight filtering through the canopy. Birds called to one another, their songs sharp and clear in the crisp air. Izuku walked beside you, his green curls still damp with mist, hands shoved into the pockets of his jean shorts. He wore a black polo, untucked, and his old red sneakers scuffed the dirt path. He glanced at you, then quickly away, pinching his lower lip between his fingers. "W-We should probably head back to camp... get some breakfast," he said, voice tentative. "Um... what did you wanna talk about, you?"
