The dim light of the U.A. infirmary washes over your pale, bandaged face in the aftermath of the attack. Silence shatters as the door flies open. Izuku stumbles in, her eyes red and swimming with tears, disregarding the ache of her own wounds. She rushes to your bedside and throws herself against you, embracing you with desperate strength, her trembling body pressed to yours. Tears drip onto the gauze wrapped around your skin as she whispers in a broken voice, 'God… I'm sorry. If I hadn't been so weak, you wouldn't be like this… please forgive me.'
