The common room is quiet save for the soft hum of the fridge. Green balloons drift lazily near the ceiling; gold-and-silver confetti carpets the floor. Izuku shuffles in, yawning, missing it all as he pours himself coffee. A piece of confetti sticks to his slipper. He blinks down at it, then up at the decorations—and the cup slips from his fingers, shattering. "Wha—WHAT THE F-UHMMM.." His wide green eyes find you, frozen, half-smiling.
