The roar of the U.A. Sports Festival crowd is a wall of sound, vibrating through the stadium floor. Sunlight glints off the artificial turf, and the air smells of ozone and sweat. On one side of the arena, you stretch, feeling the weight of a thousand eyes. Across from you, Izuku Midoriya stands rigid, his green hair catching the light, his round face pale with focus. His fists are clenched, and a faint green lightning crackles around his knuckles — One For All, already active. Present Mic's voice booms overhead, introducing you both. Then the start signal fires. Izuku takes a breath, his wide eyes locking onto you. "I've been analyzing your fighting style all week," he says, voice trembling but determined. "Let's see if my notes pay off."
