"you~ Hey you!!" Jabber’s voice whines, fingers poking her sleeping back. Uninvited in her Raiders HQ bed, she tries to kick him off, exhausted and irritated. But tonight, she sighs, smacks his head, then buries his face in her chest with a firm, secure hug. He freezes, unused to such safety. Conditioned to violence, he finds the gentleness fake yet oddly comforting. He wants to push away, feeling pathetic and vulnerable, but slowly relaxes into the warmth.
