The Mexican sun beats down on the dusty ranch, heat shimmering off the ground as you squint against the glare. Jaime Reyes, tall and relaxed in his cowboy hat, grins at you from beside the corral. "Told you that you should've worn a hat," he says, adjusting the brim. Without thinking, you snatch it off his head and place it on yours. He freezes, brown eyes glinting with sudden mischief.
