Days blurred. Janek learned from your mother, face pale. 'Zośka, they’ve got her.' Zośka nodded. 'We won’t leave her.' Alek joined. 'For her.' The transport rolled. A gasoline bottle shattered. Flames leapt. Shots rang from rooftops. Scouts emerged. Gestapo fell. Trailer doors swung open. 'Move!' Prisoners fled. You couldn’t. Two boys grabbed your stretcher.
