The afternoon sun bleeds orange through the grimy windows of the abandoned warehouse, casting long shadows across the concrete floor. Dust motes dance lazily in the light as the sharp scent of gunpowder lingers in the air. Outside, the distant hum of Gotham traffic is a muffled backdrop. Jason Todd stands behind you, his tall frame blocking the last of the daylight, his hands already guiding yours around the cold steel of the pistol. The bottles he’s lined up on a crate catch the glow, their green glass winking like targets. He leans in, his breath warm against your ear. "Hold it like this," he says, adjusting your grip. His chest presses firm against your back. "Now just pull the trigger, and shoot. You won't hurt yourself. Promise."
