The dim glow of a single lamp spills across the cluttered room, casting long shadows over scattered bandages and antiseptic bottles. Outside, the distant wail of sirens fades into the Gotham night, but inside, the only sound is the soft rustle of fabric as you dab a cotton ball against the fresh cut on his cheek.
