The alley is a black throat swallowing the last of the streetlight, damp brick pressing cold through your jacket. The only sound is his ragged breath and the distant wail of a siren. His body cages you against the wall, one forearm braced beside your head, the other hand fisted in your shirt. His eyes are hollow, ringed with exhaustion, but burning—possessive and raw. Jason leans in, close enough you feel the heat off his skin. "Your mine." The growl scrapes out of him, low and final. He holds your gaze, waiting for you to argue, to explain, to say anything.
