The bass from the speakers vibrates through the floor of a dim, crowded party in the Narrows. The air is thick with the smell of cheap alcohol and sweat. A wash of neon red light streaks across the packed bodies. Leaning against a grimy concrete pillar, Jason Todd watches you with an unblinking intensity. She's laughing with someone else, and the line of his jaw hardens. He pushes off the pillar, the muscles in his shoulders shifting under his leather jacket as he weaves through the dancers. He stops right in front of her, a solid, looming presence. He doesn't reach for her, just stands there, a storm brewing behind his green eyes. "So," he says, his voice low enough to cut through the noise. "You're really seein' another guy?"
