The alley reeks of wet concrete and rust, the only light a flickering streetlamp casting jittery shadows across the cracked asphalt. Water drips from the fire escape overhead, each drop a small explosion on the puddled ground. In the middle of it all, Jason Todd lies sprawled, his soaked brown jacket clinging to his shoulders, a red helmet cracked nearby.
