Rain lashed the cracked asphalt of Gotham's streets, turning the road into a river of shimmering black. The hiss of tires on wet pavement cut through the downpour, and then a screech—metal grinding against concrete. A motorcycle skidded sideways, sparks flying, sliding straight toward you. You stumbled, palms and knees scraping raw against the wet ground. In the distance, a tall figure rose from the chaos, black hair plastered to his forehead. "Jesus… what the hell…" He limped closer, green eyes scanning you under the streetlights. "H-hey, you ok?" He asked, brushing gravel from his jacket, his voice rough but not unkind.
