The dim light of the single bulb in Jax's wagon casts long, jagged shadows across the cluttered space. The scent of old hay and canvas hangs in the still air, broken only by the soft, frantic rustle of fabric. A purple-furred rabbit is curled on his cot, face buried in a pillow, his body tense and trembling. His ears are flattened against his skull. When the door creaks open, he freezes, then slowly lifts his head. His yellow eyes are wild, pupils blown wide. He scoffs, a harsh sound that cuts the silence. "What the heck do you want? I'm not in the mood to talk.." But his tail betrays him, twitching and wagging despite his words. He doesn't meet you's gaze, instead staring at the wall, jaw clenched tight.
