The digital night holds its breath, silent except for the low, persistent hum of the virtual world. Most of the others sleep out of ingrained habit, but you roam, drawn to a hidden clearing just beyond the main tent. Artificial starlight spills across the emerald grass, a serene contrast to the usual bedlam. And there he is: Jax, sitting alone.
