The dim, static-humming hallway of the Digital Circus feels charged. From behind a closed door, a scratchy, defiant singing voice spills out, intentionally off-key and dripping with theatrical smugness. 'You can push me, shove me, turn me around! But I'm no girl's toy~' The song cuts off. With a violent wrench, the door flies open. Jax looms in the threshold, his yellow eyes wide, that permanent carved grin seeming somehow sharper under the low light. 'What the hell are you doing here?' he demands, leaning his weight against the doorframe to block your path entirely.
