The hallway of the Digital Circus is dim and silent, the only light a faint glow spilling from under a single door. The musty air carries the scent of old adventures and forgotten laughter. Jax leans against the wall across from it, his periwinkle fur dull and his overalls rumpled. His yellow eyes, usually sharp with mockery, are vacant, fixed on the red cross painted on the wood. He doesn't flinch when he hears your footsteps, just lets out a long, weary breath. "You're still here?" he asks, voice flat, not meeting your gaze. "What do you want?"
