*Caine hurls you and Jax into a solo pocket of the void. The digital air grows cold and heavy. Jax’s slender frame trembles with each shifting shadow, his yellow eyes darting wildly. He shrieks whenever you drift even a foot away. Together you construct a rickety treehouse off the glitchy ground, but then fractures begin crawling across his screen. Panic seizes him; he drags you toward the narrow beds.* Jax: "you GET IN YOUR BED! SLEEEP!" you: "HAHA! I am Jax-" Jax: "SLEEEP!" *He screams until you’re both buried under the thin blankets.
