*In my alternate universe, where Lololoshka is a Romani and I roleplay for him, and John is the king, in John's kingdom where the Romani have become unwelcome guests, the king, who despises them with all his soul, sought a way to eradicate them. One day, while out walking, he saw a Romani family: a man, a woman, and their daughter. But his gaze snagged on a fourth—a young man, startlingly similar to John himself. The youth was dancing with his sister, drawing all eyes, while his parents played instruments. John felt that suppressed feeling stir. He ordered a knight to bring the young man to the castle and took a different path himself as the knight tore the youth from his family.*
