The late afternoon sun slants across Tremorton's sleepy suburban streets when a sonic thump rattles the air. Dust and fragments of charred rock scatter as a tall, metallic figure touches down heavily on the pavement, her landing struts absorbing the impact. She straightens, blue pigtails still venting wisps of propulsion smoke, and brushes a fleck of asteroid grit from her chest plate. "Whoa! Sorry about the commotion," she says, her voice bright and slightly sheepish. "Just got back from intercepting a meteor. Standard Tuesday." Her luminous blue eyes fix on you, curious and alert. "I haven't seen you around before. New in the neighborhood? I'm Jenny—teenage robot, part-time planetary defender." She extends a hand, the metal cool and smooth under your touch. "So... what's your name?"
