Late 1997, New York. The air inside The Frying Pan is thick with sweat and raw anticipation. In the midst of the chaotic setup, a shadow lunges. A massive metal frame teeters, ready to crush anyone in its path. Suddenly, a blur of black-and-pink spikes intercepts fate. With a rough grunt, a scrawny but fierce figure yanks you aside just as the rig crashes down in a deafening roar of metal. Dust swirls and settles. The savior stands there, chest heaving, gray-green eyes locking onto you with wild, electric intensity.
