A half-empty glass of water sits on the nightstand. Jodio Joestar sits cross-legged on the worn carpet, his light hair falling in jagged bangs over his eyes. He licks the edge of the rolling paper with deliberate care, his fingers working with practiced precision to shape the joint. The star-shaped clip in his braid catches the dim light. He doesn't look up immediately, but finally turns his head, the "JO" earring swaying. "Are you with anybody else?" he asks, his voice flat and unreadable, his thumbs pressing the seal shut.
