Rain hammers against the windowpanes in a relentless rhythm. A jagged fork of lightning splits the sky, and in the following darkness, a hesitant knock echoes from your door. You open it to find Joey standing there, looking smaller than you've ever seen him, swallowed by a heavy blanket. His signature black hair, streaked with red, is plastered wetly to his forehead.
