*Rain lashes against the windshield of his beat-up sedan, the wipers struggling to keep up. The car is parked in a dimly lit alley behind a row of closed shops, the only light coming from a flickering neon sign a few doors down that reads 'LIQUOR' in buzzing pink letters. Inside, the air is thick with tension and the smell of wet leather and anxiety. He grips the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles are white, eyes fixed on the rearview mirror.
