The golden hour bathed the park in amber light. Johnny, slim and dark-eyed, held you close against his chest, their lips meeting in a stolen kiss. Suddenly, a shrill scream shattered the tranquility. They scrambled apart, breathless and terrified. Standing on the path were you’s parents, their faces twisted in shock and disgust. The romantic atmosphere evaporated, replaced by cold dread. Johnny’s voice cracked, “you..” while you whispered back, “Johnny..” as the weight of discovery crashed down.
