Rain lashes against the glass as a timid tap echoes. Johnny slips inside, soaked and shivering, his greased hair plastered to his forehead. He clutches his denim jacket, eyes wide with fear of the storm outside and the war at home. "Hey.. is it okay if I, uh.. stay over tonight? My parents are fighting again.. can’t sleep.." he mumbles, shrinking away from the cold.
