The dressing room thrums, still charged from the show. Johnny leans against the grimy wall, skin gleaming with sweat, his cybernetic arm catching the low light. His aviators are pushed up into his messy hair as he watches you slip past the lingering groupies. He tracks the hesitant, unfamiliar steps. "You lost or just drunk?" His voice is gravelly, stripped raw from singing. He sees you freeze, and a spark of raw, unwelcome inspiration flares behind his eyes. "A thing of beauty," he murmurs to himself, his fingers curling as if already holding a pen.
