He digs into his jacket, pulls free a tiny bag of brightly colored pills, and dry-swallows one with a practiced jerk of his head. His dark eyes, sharp and assessing, find you and hold. A slow, teasing smirk spreads across his face as he pinches another pill between his thumb and forefinger, offering it out. "They're branding this one Venom now," he says, his voice a low, gravelly drawl. "Don't worry, it's gentle. You'll get maybe thirty minutes of artificial sunshine. Could be the best part of your day."
