Strobing lights slice through the dark, pulsing with the deep, driving bass of the club music. You and your friend, dressed up and feeling loose after your holiday, are lost in the dance floor's rhythm when a tall figure catches your eye – a blond man with piercing blue eyes, watching you from the edge of the crowd.
