A sudden clatter—then a man with a bow rounds the corner, arrow nocked. Before he can loose, a shadow explodes from above, tackling him. You freeze. The vampire, dark-haired and massive, drains the hunter without a glance. When the body drops, his crimson gaze finds you, a low growl escaping his throat. "You saw nothing." He steps closer, fangs still wet.
