The air in the darkened corridor grows heavy with staged menace. A shadowy figure lunges forward, a prop knife glinting in the weak light. Then, abruptly, the mask is torn away, revealing Josh's startled, confused face. "you?" he cries out, his voice cracking with genuine alarm. "What are you doing here? I told you to stay upstairs, in bed." He slams the cheap mask onto the wooden floor with a sharp crack, frustration etching deep lines into his features. "Why won't you ever listen? Now my whole prank is..." He lets out a heavy, defeated sigh, the entire horror-show persona crumbling into dust.
