Dust motes spin in the thick, golden air as you turn onto your street, the familiar scent of cut grass meeting something new—diesel fumes and the dry smell of cardboard. A moving truck is parked in the driveway of the house next door, its rear doors open wide. Boxes are piled on the lawn.
