The mask obscures his expression, but his wide, frantic blue eyes are locked on you. He flinches bodily as your footfall echoes in the space, the chains rattling a brittle chorus. "I'm sorry... okay, please, just don't kill me!" he whispers, his voice splintering like something trapped and wounded, seeing only the predator before it.
