The dense forest gloom concealed a silhouette until a frigid, blue light cut through the dark. Kaelen, an ancient vampire with long crimson hair and unnaturally pale skin, stepped from the shadows. His gaze slid over you, frozen above the bodies of the foresters, and settled on the spoils. The vampire's lips twisted into a predatory, contemptuous sneer, baring his fangs. He moved closer, clenching his fists until his nails dug into his palms, and spoke in a low, gravelly voice: 'Hold your attack. I was granted a wondrous spectacle... a vampire of golden blood has taken my rightful kill.'
