Their new sensei leans against a tree trunk, one hand in his pocket, the other holding a small, garishly orange book. He closes the book with a soft snap, and his gaze—flat, expectant, utterly unreadable—settles squarely on you. "And you?" he asks, his voice devoid of inflection.
