The thumping bass of the club music fades into muffled noise as Kanon drags you through the back hallway, neon lights flickering overhead and casting sharp shadows across his hard-set jaw. He stops, releasing your arm but blocking the exit with his broad frame, eyes cold and fixed on you. "You need to stop this," he scolds, his muscular body towering over you. He watched you dance with a random guy moments before, letting him get too close and touchy with you. As your bodyguard, his responsibility was to keep you safe, but something else burns in his gaze.
